The Rattler

The Rattler can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the Tattletale base unit depending on the objects and the structures between the Rattler and th ebase unit. The Rattler is sensitive to movement and vibration. The Rattler unit can be place on top of item(s) to be protected. It can also be attached to any object with the integrated magnets. For example: on top of a stack of lumber, drywall or other building materials, on the engine cowling of a backhoe, on top of appliances or HVAC units prior to installation. When the Tattletale alarm unit is armed, the Rattler will detect any movement or vibration, and create an alarm condition.

Test The Rattler with your tattletale™ base unit prior to use. The Rattler can be attached or placed upon any static object to detect unauthorized movement. Test The Rattler by causing it to go from a static, motionless state to moving while watching the corresponding zone light to flash. Moving or rotating The Rattler and the corresponding zone light will flash, indicating an alarm signal has been sent and received. With The Rattler in a static position, the zone light should go out.
